
Mike Henry, a white on-screen character who has voiced dark character Cleveland Brown on Family Guy for more than two decades, has ventured down from the job.
Henry has showed up as Brown since the show's absolute first scene communicate in 1999, and featured in turn off arrangement The Cleveland Show which ran for four seasons somewhere in the range of 2009 and 2013.
In a tweet, Henry stated: "It's been a respect to play Cleveland on Family Guy for a long time. I love this character, however people of shading should play characters of shading. Hence, I will step down from the job."
Henry's choice comes after makers of The Simpsons declared yesterday that they will never again be utilizing white on-screen characters to depict ethnic minorities on the show.
In January entertainer Hank Azaria reported that he would never again be voicing the Indian-American character Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. The character was the subject of a 2017 narrative by humorist Hari Kondabolu, who contended that the character is a hostile generalization.
Prior this week, in the mean time, white on-screen character Jenny Slate reported that she would never again be playing biracial character Missy in the Netflix arrangement Big Mouth.
