Flooding in Newport Beach Friday night indicated why the city and parts of Orange County are under a high surf warning until Monday.
In the Balboa neighborhood, the water was so high, on certain boulevards vehicles' tires vanished under the water. A lifeguard was likewise hospitalized with undisclosed wounds in the wake of sparing a high schooler's life at the Balboa Pier.
At the edge of Balboa and Seventh Street, the water simply continued coming while families remained on their yards.
A few people were preparing to praise the fourth of July when they saw all the water begin coming once again the sand and into their carports, homes and avenues.
The waves were high and solid, they could be heard slamming even from a square or two away.
A few people swarmed at the sea shore since they saw a boat get shook and annihilated by the waves. In any event two men got off that vessel and were treated by paramedics on the scene. They gave off an impression of being healthy.
